Description

SCHOUBIT PLAST UV is a bitumen-rubber and water based, ready-to-use, single-component waterproofing material with elastomeric performance. It provides excellent waterproofing on terrace and balcony due to the UV and weathering resistance.

Application Procedure

Preparation of Substrate

The application surface should be without dust, rust, dirt, grease and oil. The loose parts should be scrapped out. The sharp corners or horizontal-vertical joints should be rounded and angled with PH 55. Big porous and cracks should be repaired with REPAMERK 301 repair mortar. SCHOUBIT PLAST UV should be used as primer with diluted water (1 part SCHOUBUT PLAST UV-2 part water).

Application Method

SCHOUBIT PLAST UV is a cold applied and ready to use material, it does not need to dilution. It can be applied with a bitumen brush, airless pump or roller as 2-3 coats. Curing time between the coats is 24-48 hours depending on weather conditions. Surface must be protected from water, rain and freeze until full curing.
