WALLPUTZ is a cement-based plaster developed for the insulation of walls with moist, condensate and salt efflorescence.
Preparation of Substrate
The existing plaster layer damaged by salt should be scraped mechanically. The surface should be primed with a suitable primer and left to dry.
After the primer application is completed, scattering plaster should be applied. In order to prepare a scatter plaster, 20 kg of WALLPUTZ is mixed with sufficient amount of water and a scatter layer is formed that covers the surface seen with the liquid mortar by approximately 50%. The consumption is approximately 3,0 kg / m2. It should be waited for 24 hours for the scatter plaster to dry.
Application Method
3,00 – 3,50 lt water is poured into a clean container and then slowly added 20 kg WALLPUTZ. Continue mixing until obtaining a homogenous mixture without any agglomerate (approximately 3-5 minutes).
Mixture should be applied with a trowel or spatula. After it dries for a while, it is rubbed with damp sponge in circular movements. Application should be done with minimum 1.5 cm thickness.
After the application, an anti mold paint can be applied on interior surfaces.
12,0 kg/m2 for every 1 cm plaster thickness.
